XEEN CF Cinema 35mm T1.5 compatible with Sony E-mount

The XEEN CF series of XEEN cine lenses is characterised by the surprisingly small dimensions of the individual lenses and their extremely low weight. With approximately 40% less volume and 20-30% less weight than previous lenses, they open up completely new possibilities for filmmakers. The CF lenses are the world's first cine lenses to use a carbon fibre lens cylinder – hence the designation: Carbon Fibre. The absolutely high-quality workmanship combined with low weight are a major advantage of the XEEN CF lenses.

A wide range

The XEEN CF lenses are available with PL, Canon EF and Sony E mounts. The variable look of the image is another feature that demonstrates the versatility of these lenses: at open aperture, you get the typically soft vintage look of older lenses, often referred to as ‘creamy’: warm, balanced skin tones, gentle bokeh and subtle, harmonious halos within. At smaller apertures, the image becomes clear and crisp: crystal-clear contrasts and sharpness right into the corners allow you to capture sober, cool and objective images. In combination with ND filters, completely different looks are possible with just one lens.
