This enables the EOS R5 to recognise and track a subject’s face and eyes with new levels of accuracy and precision, even when viewed from the side. This tracking ability is also available when photographing dogs, cats and birds, keeping them in sharp focus as they move – a first for EOS cameras.

Capture superb 12-bit RAW video internally at 8K, or record 4K (4:2:2 10-bit) at frame rates up to 120p for exceptional slow-motion effects. All this using the full-width of the camera’s full-frame sensor for a truly cinematic look. Advanced wireless that will transform the way you work
The EOS R5 uses an always-on Bluetooth Low Energy connection to maintain a continuous link with a smart device. Simply launch the Canon Camera Connect app and the camera establishes a fast Wi-Fi connection that enables photographers to browse, review and transfer images, as well as shoot remotely.
