Good day, from today, exactly two days ago I first engaged SA Cameraland to enquire about a Canon 4000D, used, with an additional lens, which i wanted to purchase for my son currently studying in Potchefstroom. I used the Chat Function to the left of the site and engaged with a highly informed employee. I then proceeded to phone them, you know, just to make the website actually has a store, LOL! Again someone confirmed the spec and availability. I was comfortable with the product and process and continued to conclude the transaction via the Check Out option on website. My son then received the "gift" today, 2 days after I ordered it! I was blown away to say the least. But even better, my son was blown away! Without SA Cameralnd knowing the history they helped in making a MEMORY!
My son phoned in pure joy shouting over the phone: "Dad, we just spoke about this 2 days ago, what the heck!!!!!" He was surprised beyond measure! Big shoutout to SA Cameraland for that, I really appreciate it.
Then, he tested the camera, being used, the battery was only lasting 2 minutes then everything shutdown. I then went back to the website to double check the sales conditions. It mentioned the 6 month warranty. I was surprised to see that the Chat Function again prompted me for engagement should I wish to. So I did..... Not expecting any answer at 19:10 on a Friday evening I might add!
I was almost immediately responded to and I stated my case. Without any argument or further clarification requested the SA Cameralnd apologized and said, we will send a courier on Monday to pick up the battery and replace it!
Never have I ever received this type of service remotely via an electronic platform of engagement. I can just imagine how good the shopping experience must be inside the shop! I am sure they upsell you to twice your budget with this service!!! LOL!
Thank you SA Cameraland, I will NEVER buy ANY camera equipment ANYWHERE else!
